We are looking for a candidate for our client in the medical industry for the position of Finance Manager / Financial Controller.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Manager / Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our growing operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the stock market and a strong track record working with High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), Venture Capital (VC), or Private Equity (PE) funds. This is a strategic role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and can bring financial rigor and insight to support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Capital Expertise

• Manage financial relationships with HNIs, VCs, and PE investors.

• Monitor capital deployment, portfolio performance, and investment strategies.

• Leverage stock market insights to support financial planning and growth strategies.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

• Coordinate with external accounting firms and auditors to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Compliance & Governance

• Oversee legal and tax compliance in all operational activities.

• Implement and enforce internal financial controls and policies.

Operational Finance

• Structure and optimize the company’s operational financing.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue growth.

Collaboration & Communication

• Present key financial insights to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership and investors.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align business and financial goals.

Qualifications:

Mandatory

• Demonstrated experience working directly with HNIs, VCs, or PE funds.

• Solid understanding of stock market operations and investment strategies.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA) is a strong plus.

• 6–10 years of progressive experience in financial management or controlling roles.

• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments, ideally in the tech or internet space.

• Strong knowledge of financial principles, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Familiarity with legal and tax compliance across jurisdictions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to nonfinance stakeholders.
